The Studio

In the 1970's the property switched hands once more, and now the mill buildings are rented to various artisans and local businesses.

Elizabeth Whelan's studio was in a building that was once used for grain storage. The walls are incredibly thick, made from wood 2x6's nailed on top of each other. The strength was needed to contain the weight of the grain, and makes for a wonderfully insulated space!
