Inside the Mill in St. Michaels

Here are a few pictures of the incredible machinery next door in the historical section of the mill.

A slice of history quietly preserved for 3 decades, the machinery of the mill is much as it was the day the mill closed.

The last sack of 'Just Right' Flour was bagged at St. Michaels Mill on December 1, 1972.

'Just Right' Flour was an all-purpose flour grown from local wheat, and was sold to the local merchant trade from Cambridge, Cordova, Denton, Easton, Federalsburg and Hurlock, and as far south as the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
